NJR attended the Clean Pacific Conference on August 17th and 18th in Renton, WA and had the pleasure of re-connecting with colleagues as this conference was held face-to-face. Since the pandemic began, NJR, like everyone else, had to adapt to a new way of doing business into a digital forum. For us, that meant we had to find an effective method of delivering training and incident management exercises virtually.
The development of a Virtual Incident Command Post and the associated adapted ICS processes is an ongoing effort as we must continue to change and adapt with the times and capabilities of the digital platforms we work with. Since there is no such thing as one size fits all, NJR has been working with each of our clients to develop methodologies that meet their needs, while still allowing their responders to function within the established parameters of the Incident Command System.
